Recommend a book and approach by Danish scholar Hans Oerberg called Lingua Latina Per Se Illustrata. Book Description:Entirely composed in Latin, Part I, Familia Romana, provides an excellent introduction to Latin, including the essentials of Latin grammar and a basic vocabulary of over 1500 words. Total hours of study so far: 1 (Familia Romana, chapter 5/35). Ørberg, is a Latin course written entirely in Latin. Orberg: Books Usually ships within 7 to 11. He is the author of the Latin course "Lingua Latina secundum. LINGVA LATINA PER SE ILLVSTRATA, by Hans H. Lingva Latina: Interactive Latin Course. As for Lingua Latina, I shy away from immersion-style, though if the reading were coupled with a grammar course, that might be interesting. There is a teacher's I found that Amazon, for the most part, has better prices than the publisher (Pullins). I don't know anything about Lively Latin. I used this text for I also highly recommend the CD-ROM version ( Familia Romana CD-ROM) of the book - which includes the entire text , audio of the book read by the author, and interactive versions of all the exercises in the book. I'm enjoying I'm actually using a CD called “Lingua Latina”, which contains a couple of excellent inductive Latin readers by Hans H. Lingua Latina: Part I: Familia Romana (Latin Edition).
